Coohey Construction builds in several communities in Iowa City, North Liberty, Cedar Rapids, and throughout the corridor. Let us know some of the things that you are looking for and we will help you select the community that fits your needs. Once you have selected a community you will visit the community and select a home site to build your house.

#2 - Select/Create A Floor Plan

CUSTOMIZE

We will select a floor plan from our selection or online. Shane will sit down with you to go over any customizations that you are looking to make to the floor plan. We can alter the elevation or layout of any floor plan to give you the style that you are looking for. If you do not find something you like, we will design your dream home from scratch!

#3 - Build Your

HOME ON PAPER

After selecting your home site and floor plan, it is time to build your house on paper. At this time you will sit down with Shane, the owner of Coohey Construction. You will go over all included features as well as any features that you may want to add or customize. At the end of this time you will have a great idea of what the final investment price is going to be on your new home. You will now have the information needed to make an educated decision to invest in a new home.

#4 - Complete a Purchase

AGREEMENT

Now that we have created the perfect package to fit your needs, we are ready to prepare a construction purchase agreement. Once the construction purchase agreement has been created you will sit down with Shane to review and sign the agreement. At this time you will be familiarized with our next steps.

#5 - Finalize Your

DESIGN

After a purchase agreement has been completed, it is now time to finalize your floor plan layout. You will sit down with Shane again to review the floor plans and make any changes that you would like submitted to our architect for your finalized blue prints.
